L’association étudiante LED, rattachée à l’école de commerce EDHEC, a répondu en novembre 2021 à l’appel d’une association burkinabè : ADO (Association pour le Développement de Ouoro). Cette dernière avait sollicité Lagazel plusieurs mois auparavant : les élèves du collège de la localité exprimaient de forts besoins en solutions d’éclairage pour pouvoir étudier. Les membres de LED, de leur côté, souhaitaient mettre leur énergie au service d’un projet solidaire. En quelques mois, ils ont donc financé l’installation d’une station de charge collective et la distribution de 40 lampes LK1500. Prêtées gratuitement aux élèves de 3ème, elles leur permettent de mieux préparer la suite de leurs études. La station a été installée à l’intérieur de la classe des 3ème par l’équipe de Lagazel BF, qui est en lien direct avec le directeur pour pouvoir intervenir en cas de pannes à tout moment.
In November 2021, the LED student association, which is part of the EDHEC business school, responded to a call from a Burkinabe association: ADO (Association for the Development of Ouoro). The latter had approached Lagazel several months earlier: the students of the local secondary school were in great need of lighting solutions in order to study. The members of LED, for their part, wanted to put their energy into a solidarity project. In a few months, they funded the installation of a collective charging station and the distribution of 40 LK1500 lamps. Loaned free of charge to the 9th grade students, they allow them to better prepare for their future studies. The station was installed inside the 9th grade classroom by the Lagazel BF team, which is in direct contact with the director to be able to intervene in case of breakdowns at any time.
