A POWERFUL SOLAR LAMP FOR MANY USES
In France, the darkness is fading …
In towns and villages across the country, public lighting provides comfort and safety even in the darkest hours of the night. In our homes, simply pushing a button fills our rooms with light. But in spite of this comfort, we must not forget that, elsewhere in the world, and most particularly in Africa, many people are deprived of access to the electricity that brings us light when the sun has set.
Europeans are increasingly aware of this, generally starting with travel to far away countries, where they may find themselves deprived of electricity. For some people, a simple camping trip is enough to make them aware of the importance of light for performing the most basic tasks.
A simple battery flashlight, while useful for moving around indoors and outdoors, isn’t really practical for freely going about your activities. For that, you need stronger light: this is the mission Lagazel seeks to achieve.
Strong, modular lighting
Lagazel has designed a powerful and modulable solar lamp, which makes it possible to reconcile the needs for abundant light and weaker light, providing long hours of the right level of brightness required.
The Kalo 3000 provides three kinds of lighting, including a turbo mode which provides up to seven hours of 130-lumen brightness: this corresponds to the brightness of an incandescent 15-watt light bulb or 13 times the light of a candle.
The Kalo 1500 provides brightness equal to 70 lumens for over 8 hours. The Lithium iron phosphate batteries guarantee optimal lighting for a long period, with a life of 2000 cycles, or about 5 years. The Kalo 1500 Mobile model has a USB slot for recharging mobile telephones.
The Kalo 600 is the little sister in this range. Equipped with an integrated solar panel, it is easy to carry around. The Kalo 600 provides light equivalent to 40 lumens for 6 hours or for 30 hours in the night light mode (6 lumens). It also has a boost mode providing 100 lumens to enable you to perform specific tasks that require stronger light.
Our lights provide traveling adventurers with the ability to get around in the forest, or on the beach with light to be able to see what is around them, and campers to stay up late at night talking by our light. But we also provide Africans with a powerful and functional solar lamp, produced locally, that makes it possible for families to have light, for children to do their homework, for sewing and darning, cooking and cleaning …
A powerfully bright solar lamp is also a source of electricity. The Kalo 3000 has a USB slot for recharging mobile telephones or other electronic USB-compatible devices. It is ideal for staying connected in all situations and saves you the worry of having a dead battery.
