Après la pandémie, l’association étudiante Schola Africa reprend de plus belle ses projets d’accès à l’énergie dans les écoles du Sénégal. Portée par l’EDHEC Business School, cette association gérée chaque année par une nouvelle promotion d’étudiants réalise trois missions dans la région de Saint-Louis. L’objectif ? Suivi des projets, prospection de nouveaux besoins, et également mise en œuvre de nouvelles actions solidaires, notamment auprès des écoliers. En 2022, les missions de février et d’avril ont chacune permis l’installation d’une station de charge collective avec 40 lampes solaires LK1500. Les critères d’attribution de ces dernières sont fixés, dans chaque école, par le directeur selon le contexte interne, et c’est le corps enseignant qui est responsable de la supervision des équipements : notamment de la mise en charge sur la station des lampes déchargées. Pour ce qui est de l’installation, Schola Africa a l’habitude de faire appel à des artisans locaux qui sécurisent les panneaux solaires, et pour le service après-vente, l’association est en collaboration avec Le Partenariat, qui gère un point SAV agréé Lagazel à Saint-Louis. Un système bien rodé, donc !
After the pandemic, the student association Schola Africa has resumed its energy access projects in Senegalese schools. Supported by EDHEC Business School, this association, managed each year by a new group of students, carries out three missions in the Saint Louis region. The objective? Follow-up on projects, prospecting for new needs, and also implementation of new solidarity actions, particularly with pupils. In 2022, the February and April missions each allowed the installation of a collective charging station with 40 LK1500 solar lamps. The criteria for the allocation of these lamps are set in each school by the principal according to the internal context, and it is the teaching staff that is responsible for the supervision of the equipment: in particular, the charging of the discharged lamps at the station. As for the installation, Schola Africa usually calls on local craftsmen who secure the solar panels, and for the after-sales service, the association is in partnership with Le Partenariat, which manages a Lagazel-approved after-sales point in Saint-Louis.
