Chose promise, chose due. L’association SMARA (Santé Mali Rhône-Alpes) s’était engagée à répliquer son projet-pilote de stations de charge collective dans d’autres centres de santé communautaires de la région de Tombouctou, à condition que les objectifs soient atteints, notamment en termes de fréquentation du centre en question. En décembre 2021, un nouveau CESCOM a ainsi été équipé d’une station et de 40 lampes solaires LK3000. Cette fois, c’est le directeur technique de l’établissement qui s’est rendu à Bamako pour récupérer le matériel et être formé à l’installation et aux bonnes pratiques d’utilisation. Une fois le projet lancé, les lampes ont commencé à être distribuées gratuitement aux femmes vivant à proximité du centre et ayant prévu d’y accoucher, selon le modèle validé par le projet-pilote.
The SMARA association (Santé Mali Rhône-Alpes) had promised to replicate its pilot project of collective charging stations in other community health centers in the Timbuktu region, provided that the objectives are met, particularly in terms of attendance at the center in question. In December 2021, a new CESCOM was equipped with a station and 40 LK3000 solar lamps. This time, it was the technical director of the establishment who went to Bamako to collect the equipment and to be trained in the installation and in the good practices of use. Once the project was launched, the lamps began to be distributed free of charge to women living near the center and planning to give birth there, according to the model validated by the pilot project.
